Christmas Lights Are Saving Lives
The pathway home is being illuminated in a very special way this year! In pursuit of a greater purpose and the love for animals, Christmas lights are serving a mission that will live on years past this holiday season.

If you have been considering getting a pet, it's the perfect time as Christmas Lights on Holt Rd has partnered with the SPCA of Wake County to help unite pets with their forever homes. The Christmas Lights on Holt Road has sponsored the rescue and care of 40 shelter pets to give them a chance at a happy life.

Dog Adoption Promotion

When you adopt a dog during the month of November, you'll be entered a drawing to win a ticket to a private Dog Walk at The Christmas Lights on Holt Rd! The spectacular scene is normally only open for guests to drive through, but 20 tickets will be drawn and the winners will be able to walk the grounds (with their new furry family member). Christmas Lights on Holt Road will close the grounds to the general public so that winners can bring their family and their newly adopted dog for a private outdoor tour and a photo opp under the 35ft Christmas Tree. Plus *prizes* included! Help us spread the Puppy Love and Christmas Magic!

Cat Adoption Promotion

The shelter cats are getting a spotlight too! Beginning Friday, November 15, the first 40 cat adopters will receive a $50.00 shopping spree in SPCA Wake’s retail store filled with must-have put supplies. Each newly adopted cat will have plenty of presents to open this holiday season. "If you have been considering getting a pet, now is the perfect time! It is our hope that the love and happiness that pets bring us, will continue on for long past this holiday season," says Darci VanderSlik, Spokesperson for SPCA Wake.
