Adopt A Cat
The SPCA Pet Adoption Center is open to visitors every day from 11am-6pm! Please note we now use a paperless, appointment-based adoption process for your convenience. You can now automatically place a pet on hold — wherever you are — by using our online adoption survey.
Step 1: Submit an adoption survey
Use the Specific Pet survey to put a particular pet on hold for you, or use the General Process survey to get a head start as you look for your match.
Step 2: Schedule your appointment
Learn more about the pet you’re interested in and continue with the adoption process, or sit down and discuss what you’re looking for so we can find you a great match.
Step 3: Finalize your adoption!
Once you’ve met the pet at your appointment and signed the papers, it's official! Your new best friend will be ready to go home with you right away.
Purr Cup Cafe
Did you know SPCA Wake partners with Purr Cup Cafe in South Raleigh? At this new cat cafe you can visit adoptable cats and even complete the adoption process over a cup of Joe. Get your caffeine and cat fix all in one stop!
Featured Pet: NIKKI
Meet Nikki, an 8-year-old sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart full of love to share. Rescued from a colony, Nikki has blossomed from a shy observer into a devoted lap cat who adores being close to her people. Once she’s comfortable, Nikki will reward you with happy purrs, kneading biscuits, and plenty of affection. She loves gentle petting, tasty treats, and catnip toys that bring out her playful side. Nikki would thrive in a quiet, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace and form a deep bond with her new family. If you’re looking for a loving companion who’ll stick by your side, Nikki is ready to fill your days with warmth and purrs!
