Ways to Give
Your support is so critical because the SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely entirely on private donations and adoption fees to fund our annual operating budget.
The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with the ASPCA or HSUS.
We work locally and we are supported locally. As the largest privately-funded animal welfare organization in the Triangle, the SPCA of Wake County’s potential impact is significant – but nothing is possible without support from people like you, who care about animals.
Gifts of Cash: When the animals are coming through our doors by the hundreds and the needs are urgent, a cash gift helps the most. Donated funds allow the SPCA to purchase specific food items guided by the staff veterinarian. Plus, we buy in bulk at nonprofit discounts which makes your donated dollar go further!

Gifts of Stock
Donating stocks, bonds or mutual funds to the SPCA of Wake County is quick and easy. We put the proceeds of the sale to work saving animals and issue you a letter that serves as a receipt of your tax-deductible gift. Community Food Barrels
If you're not close to the Pet Adoption Center, don't worry!
You can drop off new, unopened bags of pet food, treats, toys, etc. at one of our food barrel locations. View food barrel locations.

United Way of the Greater Triangle
Does your workplace have an annual United Way Campaign?
If so, you can direct your gift to the homeless pets at the SPCA of Wake County.
While filling out the form, be sure to write in the SPCA of Wake County. Please note, there is a minimum donation of $50.
