SPCA of Wake County launches all new Fur Ball Gala
Seated-dinner and live auction at the Angus Barn offer new experience for animal lovers
(Raleigh, NC) – This year marks the 21st annual SPCA of Wake County Fur Ball Gala. New this year, the black-tie fundraiser promises a more intimate, fine-dining experience at the Angus Barn in Raleigh, North Carolina. Guests will enjoy a plated dinner and chef-selected wine pairings as they help the SPCA further its mission to providing innovative programming, compassionate care and workable solutions for people and pets in need.
Also new this year, the Fur Ball Gala will specifically focus on raising money to support programs and services at its Holding Center. The Holding Center is where each animal the SPCA takes in starts its journey toward a forever home. The SPCA’s goal is to raise $260,000 through sponsorships, ticket sales and silent and live auctions. The money raised through the event will help fund important technology upgrades, building repairs and additional medical staff so that more animals receive the attention and care they need and at a faster pace.
This year’s headlining live auction item is more than your average weekend in the Big Apple. This trip includes a private three-course dinner with two cast members from the Tony Award-winning musical “Hamilton,” two tickets to the show, meet and greet after the show as well as airfare, hotel accommodations and more.
When: Sunday, October 2, 2016 | 5:30pm–9:30pm
Where: The Pavilion at the Angus Barn | 9401 Glenwood Ave. in Raleigh NC
Seats and sponsorships are now available through the SPCA’s website and range from $500-$25,000. For more information and to purchase your tickets for this can’t-miss event, visit: https://spcawake.org/furball.
