Adopt a Dog
The SPCA Pet Adoption Center is open to visitors every day from 11am-6pm! Please note we now use a paperless, appointment-based adoption process for your convenience. You can now automatically place a pet on hold — wherever you are — by using our online adoption survey.
Step 1: Submit an adoption survey
Use the Specific Pet survey to put a particular pet on hold for you, or use the General Process survey to get a head start as you look for your match.
Step 2: Schedule your appointment
Learn more about the pet you’re interested in and continue with the adoption process, or sit down and discuss what you’re looking for so we can find you a great match.
Step 3: Finalize your adoption!
Once you’ve met the pet at your appointment and signed the papers, it's official! Your new best friend will be ready to go home with you right away.

Woof, woof, hello! My name is Chips and I'm a rambunctious fellow that loves to be the life of the party. I love nothing more than having a good time, whether it's chasing toys, snuggling up for some pets, or just exploring the great outdoors. I'm a big fan of playtime - I've enjoyed several playdates with other dogs here at the SPCA, I'm a big fan of tug-o-war, and I'm learning a game called "go find" where my human friends hide a toy or treat for me and I have to go find it! I can get a bit jumpy and overexcited sometimes but I'm a quick learner, especially when I'm offered tasty treats! So what do you say, wanna join me for the adventure of a lifetime? I promise it'll be a blast!
