Rehome By Owner
Shelters across the country are at max capacity. The SPCA of Wake County is one of them.
Because we are at capacity, we provide this link for local pet owners who need help rehoming their pets without ever stepping foot in the shelter.
Surrendering Pets:
We are a limited intake facility and urge community members to consider every alternative to relinquishment. Resources are available to assist; click here for help.
Please note:
The pets featured below are not animals at the SPCA of Wake County, and SPCA Wake is not involved in the adoption process. These are courtesy listings of animals out in the community who are remaining in their current homes until their caregivers can find them new families. All information contained in the pets’ description page has been provided by their caregiver. SPCA Wake does not verify the accuracy of the information provided. It is the responsibility of the individuals who express interest in a particular pet to get in direct communication with their caregivers through Rehome by Adopt-a-Pet.com.
If you have questions or are interested in adopting any of the animals featured on either site, please click on their photo and send an inquiry through their profile. SPCA Wake is not responsible for any health or behavioral concerns these animals may have.
