Adopt a Dog
The SPCA Pet Adoption Center is open to visitors every day from 11am-6pm! Please note we now use a paperless, appointment-based adoption process for your convenience. You can now automatically place a pet on hold — wherever you are — by using our online adoption survey.
Step 1: Submit an adoption survey
Use the Specific Pet survey to put a particular pet on hold for you, or use the General Process survey to get a head start as you look for your match.
Step 2: Schedule your appointment
Learn more about the pet you’re interested in and continue with the adoption process, or sit down and discuss what you’re looking for so we can find you a great match.
Step 3: Finalize your adoption!
Once you’ve met the pet at your appointment and signed the papers, it's official! Your new best friend will be ready to go home with you right away.
Removing Breed Labels

Featured Pet: AUNTIE ANNE
Meet Auntie Anne, the sweet and spunky senior who’s been waiting far too long for her forever home! At 9 years young, she’s still full of life—zoomies, playtime, and sniffing adventures are her specialties. She’s an affectionate girl who thrives on companionship and would love a home where her people are around often. While she’s still mastering house training and has a knack for counter-surfing, she’s eager to learn, especially when treats like peanut butter or cheese are involved! Auntie Anne isn’t a fan of crates or being left alone, but with patience and routine, she’ll settle into the right home. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and lively companion, Auntie Anne is ready to be your best friend!
