SPCA of Wake County is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue and sheltering organization. Each year, the SPCA saves the lives of about 4,000 pets, provides assistance to tens of thousands of families, and partners with 58 municipal shelters across North Carolina.

We are not affiliated with any other SPCA or humane society, and we receive zero government funding or financial support from national or umbrella organizations. SPCA Wake's programs and lifesaving mission are funded entirely by the generous support of our own community!
