Host an Event
Thank you for your interest in hosting a fundraising event to benefit the SPCA of Wake County!
We are grateful for your commitment to helping homeless animals and your interest in making animal rescue possible by helping raise money to do it! Together we can truly make a difference in this community.
We look forward to hearing more about your fundraising event (please fill out the form below). Applications are reviewed within 5 business days. (Please do not print any materials, pursue publicity or solicit cash or in-kind sponsors in the SPCA of Wake County’s name until you have received written approval for your event from the SPCA.)
Please note: Currently, our staff and volunteer resources are fully committed to our spring line up of events including our 20th annual Dog Walk and Woofstock on April 27th! With these commitments in place, we are not offering additional volunteer help or ambassador animals to be represented at hosted events. However, we are excited for your efforts and we can provide permission to use our logo (upon event approval) and fun SPCA promotional materials (for pick up at the Pet Adoption Center)!
Host an Event Form
Thank you again for your interest in holding a fundraiser for the SPCA of Wake County. Your event request will be reviewed shortly. A warm reminder that we are unable to provide:
1. Advertising on the home page of our website. (Approved events can be listed on our main Events Calendar!)
2. Volunteers or staff to help run the event.
3. Funding to start up or pay for any part of your event, nor can we provide any fee waivers or discounts.
4. Animal representatives.
5. Animals for adoption at the event (event specific adopt-a-thons).
About adoption event requests: The SPCA does participate in a few, select off-site adoption events. However, because significant resources are committed to driving all adoption traffic to the SPCA Pet Adoption Center, it is uncommon for us to be able to fulfill any additional off-site adoption event requests.
We are so grateful for what you do to help the animals! Thank you!
