Adopt a Dog
The SPCA Pet Adoption Center is open for public visits! Please note we have recently updated to a new & improved paperless, appointment-based dog adoption process for your convenience. You can now automatically place a pet on hold — wherever you are — by using our electronic adoption survey.
Step 1: Submit an adoption survey
Use the Specific Pet survey to put a particular pet on hold for you, or use the General Process survey to get a head start as you look for your match.
Step 2: Schedule your appointment
Learn more about the pet you’re interested in and continue with the adoption process, or sit down and discuss what you’re looking for so we can find you a great match.
Step 3: Finalize your adoption!
Once you’ve met the pet at your appointment and signed the papers, it's official! Your new best friend will be ready to go home with you right away.

Champagne here — I might look worried, but I'm a big bottle of fun!
If you're looking for a dog that will make you laugh out loud every day, look no further! I have so many silly antics up my sleeve, you won't be able to help smiling along with me. Though if you're just meeting me for the first time you might be surprised to hear that — strangers make me pretty nervous, so I might seem a little shy about making friends. But if you let me come to you, I'll be a whole different dog. I just need to feel safe first! Just ask my buddies here at the SPCA. We are all best friends, so they know how my personality can really shine! I love tuck-and-run zoomies in the yard, lying in a big pile of squeaky toys, and of course, treats. If you have a patient heart for me and think you could let me come brighten your life, I'm all yours!
