SPCA of Wake County brings puppies to the polls

It's no secret that the 2016 election season has been long, stressful and smelled like a litter box that hasn't been cleaned in weeks.  The animals at the SPCA of Wake County in Raleigh, North Carolina wanted to encourage voters to put away the claws and stop growling and start loving.

Pets help reduce stress and anxiety so we took two puppies to the polls to help ease the wait of long voting lines.  No matter what side of the paw-litical aisle you're on, it seems pretty clear that everybody can unite over cute puppies!

Cedar and Juniper are two puppies currently up for adoption (as of November 8th, 2016). They are three-four month old hound mixes.  Please visit our Adoption Center in Raleigh to meet with an adoption counselor if you are interested in them or any of our other wonderful adoptable dogs, cats or bunnies.
